“Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional.” – Anonymous. The fact that a person lives many years, unfortunately, does not mean the person will automatically develop wisdom and maturity. It is helpful and important for us to walk closely with God. If we think deeply, if we pay attention and ask questions, if we relate with others authentically and, in general, if we learn the lessons that life offers this will help us gain wisdom and maturity as our years accumulate.
