Growing up, I never knew we were poor or living in poverty...until those strangers came to use and said that we were, infact, living in poverty, I mean, we were well feed, no cocacola, no sugar, no tv, no telephones, our diet was mainly off the land, sure, the ship came in every year to supply pilot bread, spam, butter, flour, tea, yep, Ive tried tundra tea n sugar...if all of a sudden, our oil runs dry, I know our entities arent ready to pick up the slack, theyll be too broke to do anything, weve been crying for years to open up roads to each villages, - access road to main highway...but I warn you, if it does run dry, what you gonna do for transportation? Already is $10 per gal in Barrow, the luxury you have now? Wont be there soon, youll have to fight for ur life n limp..mon sense tells me to convince ur neighbor to consider their ways...lets get our house in order, shall we?
