Growing up as kids, most of us saw our parents as our super heroes. For me, I believed that my dad was more powerful than the incredible hulk and my mum greater than Batwoman or Xena. This belief accounts for reasons why I walk shoulder tall and threaten kids who dont have their fathers around when am walking with mine. Seeing my mum carry me and walk miles from home to school and vice-versa makes me admire her strength. As I grew to be a teen, I laugh at myself for seeing my parents as such strong comic heroes. But after careful consideration, i realized that no matter how we see it, for most of us the real super heroes would still be our parents as they would stand up for us anyday/time. It is a blessing to have parents and for those that have one/ none, God gat your back.
