Growing up in the NYC area the “N” word was like saying dude. I never understood why my black friends called me by the name. I do know this, it is was okay for my bros to say it and if you were from the housing projects. I have lived there. Over time as I left the “ol’ neighborhood” I vowed not to ever use the word. The following comedian is criticized for using it loosely and he was born and raised in the suburbs not the inner city. However, I respect the fact that that when he did his Comedy Central show, he did not use it. I respect him for that. His middle class, suburban education shines through. I think he is brilliant, and can give Dave Chappel a run for his money. You do not need to say the “N” word to sell your act to the Apollo of Chicago audience. In this skit it is used do not be offended, but when he hustles, he does it with gusto. He is considered the best stand-up comedian out there. The McDonalds part of the skit rocks!!
