Grr... I hate Strep! I have been admitted to St.Thomas after spiking a temp of 39.1. My right foot is now MASSIVE, very hot and red :( I am quite tachycardic with a pulse of 144. My body is trying to fight this nasty infection but cant quite manage, on its own. My antibiotics have now changed to Gentamicin and Co-Amoxiclav which are both quite broad spectrum to cover lots of different bacterial infections. Fingers crossed by tomorrow I will stop spiking and will feel better!
