Grrr... #Mazdaaustralia warranty catch 22. Ive got a new (less than 2x years old) Mazda 3. Had it serviced the other day by #lubmobile. They always do an awesome job. The mechanic showed me the front shock absorber with oil on it and said it was unsafe so of course I got him to replace the front set. Expensive of course. Just looking at the mazda www and realised that it is covered by warranty. Cool! Not. Unless THEY see the fault, assess it and do the repairs themselves they wont cover it. Tim from head office Technical Case Manager said that I should have stopped the work being done, driven it or had it towed to a dealer and have them asses it. Seems like an awesome warranty that they never have to honour. This is the THIRD new Mazda I have bought.. I asked if I could escalate the complaint and he gave me an email address. Which HE assesses! lol #warrantycomplaint
