Grrr.. Now that I have your attention I am very disappointed to be reading around the sites the huge amounts of complaints about this years expo. Disgusting. I feel like saying... Then dont come. I dont know what people are expecting... Every species you can own (short of an Oenpelli python!) was on display... I mean come on an emerald tree monitor... White lipped python. How often will you see this? People complaining about how far you had to travel to see it or how much it cost... Those people who displayed for you spent hundreds out of their own pocket at no profit or benefit of themselves. There where great celebrities, free face painting, balloon models and fairy floss for kids! Airconditioned venue in a central location. If youre disappointed with what was on display pack up your own collection and pay to display it! Its about raising public awareness of the hobby. And hobbiests complaining their heads off about it is no way to keep these things happening!!! Thankyou Mahalia and Steve and the rest of those involved in putting this event on for us all!!
