Grrrr. English translations of the Bible are excellent, but perfection is impossible. I dont like NIV or NCSB at Song 4:1-3 though. The images are difficult, thats not the problem, they mess with word order. I guess it just means the English doesnt look as perfect as the Hebrew, but it hides how careful, natural, logical and clear are the markers using Hebrew words. To lose the fact that six consecutive lines start with the sound sh in Hebrew as the first letter just has to be accepted, but to change word order to English tastes is brutal imo.
