Grupo Higa had won the high speed train contract for 3.2billion dollars in 2013. The Mexican construction company was backed by China. Chinese corruption throughout Latin America will not go away. Mexican Cartels are involve with high stake enterprises. Oil is being nationalized and bids are sold. Billions are being tapped and sold without government regulation. Mexicans president will not escape scrutiny. Obamas intervention and promises will sealed the doom of many political figures in Mexico. Chinas contracts in Nicaragua are even worse. Although construction of the new canal has begun it is the biggest rip off in history. The contracts have given China operational control for 100 years and an option for another 50 years. This seems only fair. However, China also has complete control over ports, highways, airports and all structures. The kicker is.....China is not required to complete the canal. Many of Chinas business ventures do not hold the blessings of the Communist Party. Corruption charges carry the death penalty. Many top officials are on an extradition list for having left the country and sought refuge in foreign nations. The threat of extradition is real.
