Guardian Angel On this very gelid winters day Her legs felt spindly as they gave way Down upon the frozen ground is where she lay Her arms and legs violently lashing and thrashing every which way This fit seemed to ravage her whole as if for her soul it did crave The saliva foaming within her throat made it impossible to breath Lying so limp with no life left nor even one more breath to breathe As her beloved began to holler and plead no, no please dont leave me Her very bright soul from this lifeless vessel did flea and he below she could see This man with all his love he held within was trying to bring her back from the dead The tears from his eyes flooded her face as they continued to flow onto her neck She floated ever so lightly above his head she could hear every word he had said As this grief stricken man stood below he begged for mercy to God he made a plea As he continued to say how he loved her and please dear God bring her back to me As she began to feel a flutter come up beside her an Angel took her by the hand She now felt she must say her good byes to the ones she loved and knew Because with the Angels in Heaven is now where she feels she should be This beautiful Angel began to say today isnt when you will be joining me As this Angelic being dressed all in a humbling white with a golden glow He then kissed her forehead and nudged her away from this illuminating light As her beloved was amazed when she took a breath of life and opened up her eyes Spring Pitts 1/2/2015
