I wuld lik to channel dis topic mor on we studnts, We ar sent to skul to study to acquire knowledge, not only to study to pass our exams bt to study to gain lastin knowledge. Many studnts hav lost dia academic strength bcos of procrastinatn, many also hav failed in many areas of dia courses bcos of procrastinatn. Lik I said earlier, we ar sent to skul to study to acquire knowledge, ur mission der in skul is to study ur books n dat shuld be d most importnt duty u must not jok wit. Oda tins like flexin, chattin, partying, hanging out wit frnds, night coolin n clubin 4 doz dat hav interest in all d abov mentiond social activities must consida dem as secondly duty to be done. Am nt against doz activities bcos one can be mor expozd tru dem bt am against d fact dat many studnts put doz activities n entertainmts first b4 dia mission in skul...wch is to study to acquire knowledge. The book of Ecclesiastes says dat: dia is tym 4 evrytin. Mak ur academics ur priority. U wil see a studnt who was givn assignmt dat wil be summitd in nxt 2days, he or she wil kip d assignmt, belivn dia is still tym(procrastinatn) he or she wil be busy flexin n doin many oda tins dat ar mor less impotnt. B4 he or she could rememba d assignmt again, it wil bcom too late. We dnt hav to jeopardize wit our studies bcos it is our future. An adage says dat: d way u mak ur bed, so shal u lie on it. Dia is still tym 4 u to enjoy ur life, y not mak gud use of d opportunity u hav now to prepare urself 4 a beta future after wch merriment wil folo. Lets not apply opportunity cost in our future n career, rada apply it on doz tins dat are irrelevant 4 now. Lets mak hay whil d sun shines bcos a stitch in time, saves nine. D Lord says: Today u listen to my voice, harden not ur heart. Lets mak changes in our lives tody...so dat d changes wil reflect in our society. We need a positive change in our country, and d changes wil com 4rm no where but 4rm us, bcos we ar d future of tomoro. Lets not giv up bcos of challenges n problm we may encounter or we ar encountering now lik ASUU n ASUP strikes. It is rilly a challenge n hinderance to our academic pursuit but I beliv dat d determined wil neva giv up. A hero is known n regonizd wen he can surmount all temptations n finally gain victory. Determine tody to be a hero or heroin by wokin hard n being focused. Our hope n beliv is dat one day, tins wil be beta tru our efforts n Gods help. May d Good Lord giv us d grace to stand firm n neva giv up in d midst of temptatns n challenges. May HE also grant us d grace to discova dat our future n hw to actualize our dreams are to be considered first b4 any oda tins.
