Guess what I got for Christmas this year? Come on, take your best guess….never mind. LET ME TELL YOU what I got for Christmas this year! All my children together on Christmas Day for the first time in over five years as my sweet son, daughter-in-law and daughter arranged a surprise visit from Heather for me and Allan. When we stood on the front porch of Allan, Jr’s home and rang the doorbell we could not understand why, even though he saw us through the door, he did not come directly to us but instead disappeared out of sight. That is until we saw Heather walking around the corner to open the door for us! She flew in from Ireland Christmas Eve to be with us on Christmas Day….best Christmas in a long time! (I say all of my children because I know Amanda was looking down on us and smiling that huge smile of hers, giving her siblings and sister-in-law a big “thumbs-up” for keeping it all a secret!)
