Guess what MY child did at school today? Gavin my four year old who is the most like me at that age so inquisitive and so very impulsive decided to pull the fire alarm. We had a discussion the week before spring break about how those are only for emergencies. When I asked him why he did it he said with a big smile “I didn’t do it on purpose.” I told him that wasn’t true and he said “Well I just wanted to find out would happened.” Now he is in his room thinking about why he should never do that again. I am glad he is only in pre-k or he could have gotten suspended and if the fire truck would have actually came to the school that would have been a $1500 fine to me. I just feel really lucky that overall it’s not as bad as it could have been. I keep showing him my serious you can’t do that sort of thing face but every time I start thinking about it, I can’t seem to stop laughing because he is his mother’s child. :D
