Guess what? WE DID IT!!!!!! I am so happy to report that we have reached our goal! Gravestone and plaque are paid for, and at this point we have $885 to go to the Gary Kerr Memorial Scholarship Fund. I know of a couple more people who have told me they are mailing in checks, so maybe we can reach an even $1,000 for the scholarship fund. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of you who helped make this possible. The plaque will be ready by July 4 weekend, and there will be a ceremony at High School. Ill post information about that on this page closer to that date. The gravestone probably will not be ready by that weekend. We ordered the stone, but did not want to do any of the engraving or etching until we were sure we could pay for it, so it may take a little longer to get it set. Ill keep you posted on that too.
