Guess what?!! Were surprising the kids and headed to California this weekend and taking them to Legoland. TOTALLY not planned- but yesterday I had a random desire to go, so why not. My kids are in LOVE with the Lego Movie. And I decided we should have one last FUN adventure before school starts on Monday. :) Now I just need to figure out HOW Im going to surprise them!! Im thinking we could take them out to dinner tonight and break the news? Maybe just start driving after back to school night tonight and just refuse to tell them where were going? Or should we pack them in the car in the middle of the night, drive while they are asleep and let them wake up with the beach view and tell them then? Ideas?? I have NEVER surprised my kids like this. I want it to be epic!!
