Guess what tomorrow is? Someone we know and love a whole bunch is turning 8!!! Karis is very excited and said, Hey, Im almost a teenager! Lol. Not quite, but she is feeling pretty grown up. She has already received some early birthday presents. Brenda, our new friend and neighbor, gave Karis a super cozy Hello Kitty blanket. It is adorable and Karis loves it. So does Braylin. She told Karis it was her blanket. Its all mine. Hmmm. Birthdays are tricky to explain to a 4 yr old. Especially when its not theirs. :) Then Karis got a treasure chest full of loot from one of our sweetest and dearest friends, Cyndi. :) Karis enjoyed finding all the treasures and will be getting to go on a shopping spree soon with all the gift cards loaded in her new wallet. Now we can mark that item off her bucket list! Well, actually two items cause there was also money in there to go toward travel expenses when Karis gets to go to the beach! So many words of thanks and gratitude come to mind. We are blessed in many, many ways and the joy given our princess brings me to tears of happiness. Priceless memories. We are forever grateful for the support and all who continue to travel this journey with us. We had the pleasure of meeting one of our gracious supporters at Panera this past Sunday. It is wonderful when we get these opportunities to express our thanks in person and it makes Karis feel very special.
