Guess where this is? Give up? Well, you probably wouldnt have gotten it anyway, because not many people get the opportunity to see it. When I was in Bora Bora on vacation, my husband decided to go take a walk along the back side of the hotel area. Most people only see the tiki huts over the water, but Bora Bora has a lot more to offer. Thing is, I think the reason they dont build there is it is all hard as a rock (or shall I say like concrete) on that side of the island? The water was magically clear and we witnessed several octopi (octopus...es...plural), in action. They were BLACK and thin. Worked very quickly to get their prey. They were small! Also on this property was a turtle farm...(Loved that), and to my surprise we saw turtles on this side of the island too. This photo is not manipulated in any way, not even cropped, its this beautiful and know I took it with a point and shoot camera. Can you imagine if I had my good camera with me? But Ive learned if you dont have enough time to do a perfectionist type shot, its not worth it hull it around. But isnt it beautiful? Just wanted to share it with all of you. And yes, Ive thought of painting it. I have several of these type shots.
