Guess whos coming to the Southside tomorrow?! Join Keep Fort Worth Funky, local singer/songwriter Joshua Irwin, former Dallas Cowboys stars Charles Haley, Drew Pearson, Jay Novacek and Mayor Price for a Fit15 Celebration event Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at the Green on Magnolia, 1201 Lipscomb Street. Part of the FitWorth Healthy City Initiative, the Fit15 program encourages area employers to offer 15-minute activity breaks during regular business hours to all employees. After brief presentations by the mayor, the former Cowboys, Mike Brennan Fort Worth South Inc., and Carol Roberts of Albertson’s, the mayor will lead a 15-to-20 minute walk for employees of businesses in the near Southside. The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and a marching band from a Fort Worth Independent School District school also will take part in the event. Free to all to participate.
