Guest Teachers Latest News : 719 Guest Teachers Now Go Home Supreme Court Dismissed their SLP of Guest Teachers of Haryana Delhi, 25 Jkri.iCorrespondent) : The day of Mahashivratri brings bad news for 719 Faulty Guest Teachers of Haryana. The Supreme Court today Dismissed their Special Leave Petition. These SLPs were filed by the faulty Guest Teachers of Haryana against the Punjab and Haryana High Court Order Dated 10-09-2012. The High Court had passed the order that the action should be taken on Departmental inquiry reports of irregularities in the appointment of Guest Teachers and services of such 719 faulty Guest Teachers shall be terminated. The High Court also ordered that Recovery of Pay shall be done from concern officers like School Heads/ Principals who allowed to continue such Guest Teacher against whom speaking oreder was passed by Director,School Education Haryana. The High Court passed this order on a PIL filed by Bijender Kumar of Patra Adhyapak Sangh in Sept. 2012. In view of the High Court orders, Education Department had started the process of issuing show cause notices and termination of wrongly appointed Guest Teachers. Than SLPs was filed by some such Guest Teachers in Supreme Court and got STAY on High Court order dated 10-09-2012. Today Supreme Court heard this matter in full length and found no Merit in the case and Dismissed these SLPs. The Respondent Bijender Kumar’s lawyer John Methew told the Court that Supreme Court order Dated 30-03-2012 was not applicable on such faulty Guest Teachers who are appointed violating the rules and instructions. These faulty Guest Teachers are enjoying Govt. Job from last 7-8 years but Eligible TET pass youth is waiting for regular appointments. The Bench headed by JUSTICE J. CHELAMESWAR finally dismissed the said SLPs. Now these faulty 719 Guest Teachers final hope come to end with the dismissal of SLP
