Guest post #1 from Dani Collins, Romance Author : Hi All, I¹m asking Stephanie to post this for me because I¹m not sure if I¹ll make it to the party today. I¹m leaving first thing tomorrow on a month long trip practically around the globe and covering everything from a high school reunion to TWO writer¹s conferences and a big catch up with my sister in Australia. But I did want to pop in and say hello. I was actually going to write a County Fair story, but long story short, my book wound up in the Homecoming series where the storyline and hero work better. But I do so love the late summer harvest season, pies and pickles, and of course the rides and midway. I feel like you¹re all there now, having popcorn and taffy apples while IŠ well, I guess I¹m getting ready for a back to school event. High school reunions are a little bit like the first day of school, aren¹t they? Let¹s start with the stress of what to wear and of course there¹s the politics of where to sit. But it will be fun to catch up with friends I haven¹t seen in ten years. When was your last reunion? Did you enjoy it? Thanks Stephanie, Best, Dani
