Guest preacher: Dr. Luke Timothy Johnson, R.W. Woodruff Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins Candler School of Theology Stewardship Sunday, January 26 Professor Johnsons research concerns the literary, moral, and religious dimensions of the New Testament. Among his many publications, Dr. Johnson has written Sharing Possessions: What Faith Demands. He recently delivered the keynote lecture, The Life of Faith and Faithful Use of Possessions, at the Lake Family Institute on Faith and Giving. A former Benedictine monk, Dr. Johnson is a highly sought-after lecturer, and a favorite professor of many Oakhurst members, including Melanie Vaughn-West.
