Guide License 1. Any person applying for a tour guide business license shall have the following qualifications:- (a) Shall have attained the age of 18 years; (b) Shall have fluent in any foreign language; (c) Shall have one of the qualifications prescribed for tour guide business under paragraph 14 of the procedures relating to the Myanmar Tourist Law; (d) Shall be of good health and not be a handicapped person; (e) Shall have a good moral character; (f) Shall not be a government servant of any state enterprise or government department, government or organization. 2. The tenure of the Tour Guide license is for a period of two years from the date of issue. 3. Persons applying for license or renewal of license shall pay the prescribed fee or license renewal fee as hereunder;- License Fee Renewal Fee 50000/- 50000/- 4. If Tour Guides re-apply for lost (or) destroyed, shall pay service fee as per prescribed rate in para-3. 5. The license-holder desirous of renewing the license shall apply for the renewal of license not earlier than (60) days but not later than 30 days before the expiry date. If application for renewal of license is made after the expiry date, the license-holder shall be liable to pay license fee and fine at the rate of Ks.500 per day for each expired day
