Guidelines when buying 2nd Hand Ebikes & Escoot 1. Always Put in mind that there are always risk in buying Second Hand Unit. 2. One should always Verify the identity of Seller and hes/her credibility and the Reason for selling. 3. Ask for Dealers Official Receipt to verify if Fully Paid as well as proof of ownership (for deferred) Usually a fully paid Unit will or must have two sets of keys. Check for the Serial numbers (Chassis, Motor number) written in the O.R. must be similar with the unit. O.R. will also be used for warranty if still available. 4. Be aware of the original state of the unit as well as its specifications, if not available at least Check the Unit for: a. Obvious Defects like lost screws, broken fairing, scratches, alignments etc. b. check batterys age and condition. c. check all meter function. d. Check or ask for any modifications. e. Test Drive with owner. 5. Prepare a Valid Deed of Absolute Sale a. There should be Copies of Valid IDs of both Party for signature verification. b. Full name and Address should be verified, ask for an alternate address if renting. c. Ask for acknowledgement Receipt or Cash Voucher for your payment. 6. Ask suggestions on past effective Help or services, like parts, Repairs and adjustments for future references.
