Guillermo del Toro steps into the producers chair for this Dia de los muertos inspired animated feature from director Jorge Gutierrez. The character and production design looks absolutely spectacular. Even just from the two minute trailer its clear that The Book Of Life is teeming with characters that are as colorful as the world itself. The description also indicates the movie will incorporate pop songs into the movie, ala A Knights Tale.
