Guitarists: You may have seen some of my solo guitar arrangement videos of popular songs and jazz standards, I hope you enjoy them! You probably also noticed that I mention video lessons.... So this week Id like to share with you a free sample from one of my most recent solo fingerstyle guitar lessons! Why should you be interested in playing solo guitar? 1) Its good for your mind - youll gain understanding for harmony and youll train yourself to play more then one part at time. 2) Its good for the soul - If you have never played a full arrangement where you play all the parts and need no one else, I assure you, it is an incredibly gratifying experience. 3) Its really good for your pocket! Imagine taking just a few months to work up some 20-25 arrangements of songs YOU like and starting to get solo guitar gigs on off nights, maybe at a local coffee shop... Wouldnt you do it?
