Guy Who Wore ‘F*ck the Police’ Shirt To Court Shuts Down Another Cop November 17, 2014 2:52 pm· ? cop_block_prison Michael Burns, otherwise known as “The Guy Who Wore A F*ck The Police Shirt to Court” is at it again. This time, he is taunting the cops in Polk County by… well, just being himself. Michael likes to park in front of the Polk County Prison and turn on his cameras. Some people kayak, some ride bikes. Michael likes to “Cop Block”. ? In this short but classic video, the Inspector General (whatever that means) sees Michael parked and taking pictures, makes a u-turn, and then drives in the wrong lane to tell Michael to stop recording. This video is instructional because it shows how cops use language to intimidate. Listen carefully… Inspector General: “Is there any law I’m breaking by taking pictures?” Michael Burns: “Yeah we’re asking you not to do it.” Notice how he doesn’t answer the question? There IS no law, just a policy, but to 99% of humanity it sounds like he’s being given a lawful order. But the order is not lawful. Now here’s the funny part. The Inspector General gets out of his car and asks for I.D. Michael declines, and The Inspector tells him that Florida law REQUIRES him to I.D. Himself. Inspector General: “You’re refusing law enforcement to show your driver’s license?” Michael Burns: “Do you suspect me of a crime?” Inspector General: “If you’re driving a vehicle in the State of Florida, and you’re asked by law enforcement to produce your driver’s license, you’re breaking the law if you refuse.” This isn’t true, and Michael knows it. Which is why he asks if he’s suspected of a crime, which would give the Inspector probable cause to detain Michael and ask for this driver’s license. And the crime he’s suspected of? Inspector: “My probable cause is you taking pictures of the institution.” Which, we already know, is not a crime. And so Michael just drives away. He’s done this several times now, and been harassed every time. And yet they don’t learn. I asked Michael why and he said “I think its because I’ve been lucky and got a new person each time that hadn’t heard about me.” I asked him if he had plans to return to the prison soon. “Maybe even today if I get the itch.” Listen to Cop Rot Radio‘s episode from Sunday night, where they talk about this and other important issues!
