Guy in Shorts 12/27/14 Killington Ski Conditions All but the top of the mountain was cloud free at the start. Summit temperature of 26 degrees with a slight breeze. Most of the trails had been groomed with our sights on Escapade. Nothing like the first groom for the high elevation natural snow. Sweet perfect carving surface was delightful. Double Dipper looked fun from Canyon Quad. Skied even better than it looked so we hung out for awhile. Loose granular sugar over the hard ice on Superstar made for secure turns. Late arriving holiday crowd started to build as we headed to the Yurt for lunch. Upper Great Bear was supposed to be groomed with a frozen chattery surface the reality. Groomers should hit the slopes hard again to tonight. Grade C Quote of the Day - Killington showed off its terrain management skills today.
