Guys? From a reader who requested anonymity: Hi, I bought a brand-new Toyota Altis yesterday at Toyota Pasig. The odometer reading was just 14km when I got it. I was surprised to see documents inside the car that indicated that the same unit had been used as a demo unit in SM Masinag for one week. This makes me question whether (1) I got a truly brand-new car, and (2) whether the odometer reading was tampered with. The distance from Toyota Pasig to SM Masinag is 12km, one way. I am planning to file a formal complaint. Any advice on how to handle this? I feel very upset because this is my first brand-new car, and I feel I was duped.
