Guys Night Out at Christmas time 12/15/14 It was a simple night of remembering worship on the Lord’s Day, banter, some serious talk, a Cleveland Cavaliers game on the big screen (we won), food and drink among guys brought together by faith in Christ – Andrew, Aaron, Daniel, Jonah, Frank, Brian, Jim, Mike and yours truly. To me it was reminiscent of that night more than 2000 years ago: “It is not surprising that the Christmas message first came to a simple woman who just wanted to build a home, and then to a carpenter, one working with his hands. It was heralded to a band of shepherds, strangely blending their work, both for the temple and the home. They knew about lambs and sheep. We were the sheep.
