Guys can I please clear up this status from this Copeland Councillor..... The therapy centre we are decorating was fit for purpose for its day to day use. Its clean, comfortable and warm We are just improving the look and making it a bit brighter and appealing to the children. People have donated extra items to improve the environment for the children to make it more relaxing. People donated a washing machine and tumble dryer to enhance the facilities capabilities and enable them to engage with more of the older kids in care. I deleted Carole from the group as right from the start I have said no negative comments. I inboxed Carole to reassure her and she still proceeded to write incorrect assumptions Yes in an ideal world social services, NHS and the other childrens group that would use it would have more funding for upgrades but they dont. Copeland Council have had cut backs and weve taken over some of the stuff they used to do and I didnt see the council complaining then. If I thought for one minute that kids were at risk I would report the issue right away.
