I just have to share this: when shipping a dog please do consider a lot of things! First, get a vari kennel or a cage that is suitable for the breed and the dogs size...make sure the dog can move freely around the cage; Second, leave some water for the dog, theres this water bottle feeder that you can attach to the cage of your dog so that the dog can be hydrated while waiting for his or her flight (and all the airlines allows it); Third, make sure you ship the dog on the time of the day that is not too hot! Dogs may die because of heatstroke and believe me theres a lot that have died because of this. My friend encountered this poor puppy that will be shipped via Cebu Pacific earlier... the owners forced the Siberian Husky puppy to stay in a cage suitable for Toy Dogs!!! So what happened is, the dog was left cramped inside the very small kennel box for how many hours and the puppy was so stressed! My friend let the puppy out of the box and let the puppy drink water and she massaged the puppys limbs and body. The puppy was on the verge of having a heatstroke, the puppy cannot stand anymore when my friend let her out of the cage! I asked my friend what the owners say about this and this what she said: The girl made a face and said nothing when she saw the puppy outside and sleeping on the floor. I had to follow her and tell her it was me who let her out. Gave her the animal cruelty act thing. In the end she just said thank you. SO PLEASE, AS BREEDERS AND DOG OWNERS, DO THINK FIRST WHAT IS RIGHT TO DO BEFORE DOING WHAT IS PRACTICAL TO DO!!! THIS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY! CMON WE ALL HAVE COMMON SENSE, PLEASE USE IT!
