Guys, last week I had posted a picture of a dog named Jagger that I had made for this man named Greg who I kept meeting on the beach each morning. He saw that I was taking a lot of pictures of his dog & asked if he could see them the next time I came down. We exchanged numbers so I could contact him the next time I was there. We had many short conversations & he had told me he was a surfer back in the day & how he missed the way things used to be. The many times that I had photographed Greg & Jagger through the lens of my camera I was noticing such a sadness & longing in his eyes as he stared out at the ocean! :( That`s when I decided to surprise him & matte a few photos of his dog that I took! Thinking that would bring him some JOY!! :D I could NOT wait to get back down to surprise him!! He was such a really nice man! Last week I contacted him & we met on the beach & I presented him with the matted photos I made of Jagger! He was soooo THRILLED & SURPRISED! Gave me a big Hug & a Kiss & told me how much he Loved them! Then he asked if I would wait while he brought his board back to surf & if I would photograph him. Of course I said yes! I saw Ken Salerno & he called me over to say hi then asked me if I knew who that man was?? I said yes. His name is Greg & he is sooo Nice! Then he proceeded to tell me who he REALLY WAS!!!!!! OMG!! :O I had no IDEA!! Now I got REAL NERVOUS because I was going to be photographing this famous Surfer!! :O Greg came back & I took some Amazing shots of him & am going to meet with him again in the near future. His full name is Greg Mesanko & Ken told me they are showing a documentary on him & all the other famous surfers on the beach on August 9th! It`s called The Life Outside!! I am still in shock!!!! LOL!! Once again for me.....this is the Magic of Seaside!! I have met & made some of the most AMAZING Friends here!! (To respect Greg`s privacy I did not show his face.)
