Gwede Mantashes wife is awarded the biggest government catering contract in history. As Eskom teeters on the brink of collapse the power utility will fork out a staggering R1.4bn on two five-year catering contracts that provide free meals to its workforce. Medupi in Limpopo and Kusile in Mpumalanga and are the biggest catering contracts in the countries history. The Kusile contract, worth R639m was awarded to ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe’s wife, Nolwandle Mantashe who is the director on the company awarded the contract. A good life for ANC members.
