Gypsies! I posted an ad a few days ago, but our situation has since changed and were getting an even nicer spot! My roommates and I are looking for a 4th person to jump on a year lease with us starting September 1st. Weve got a huge loft in East Williamsburg/Bushwick, a block off the Morgan L (6 stops into Manhattan). Were on the 4th floor of a 4 story building, which means extra high ceilings and no upstairs neighbors! A massive wall of windows fills the living room providing a ridiculous amount of natural light. The building is relatively quiet (unlike the notorious McKibben Lofts down the street), but its filled with other creatives. Your bedroom is private and professionally lofted, though unfurnished. Rent comes out to $1000/month (utilities additional), though the leasing office requires 3 months paid up front for security (however they dont require income to be 40x rent, guarantors, or great credit, so its pretty fair trade-off). Weve already signed the lease, but you may have an opportunity to come see it with me at 4:30 on Wednesday for the final meeting. You have the option to sign on any time between then and September 1st, but if you would like to see the apartment with your own eyes, you have the option to join me Wednesday at 4:30. This is NOT a sublet situation - you WILL be on the lease, as there is electronic entry to parts of the building and they will not issue a key until a lease agreement has been signed. I am a full time fashion photographer, and the apartment will be a convertible studio. Another roommate (John) is an Apple Genius who does photography and fitness training on the side, and the 3rd (James) is an agent for a Top 10 fashion agency here in NY. Were all LGBT-friendly, in our early-mid 20s, and we love to cook. Absolutely no cigarette smoking in the apartment (420-friendly), though the 15,000 square foot rooftop is just a few steps away. We prefer someone fashion-minded, or at least someone with a similar lifestyle and interests.
