H.E Dagyap Kyabgon Rinpoche, the president of the Tibet house Germany whose patron is H.H Dalai lama condemns institutionalised Tulku system in Tibetan Buddhist tradition with the strongest terms. he states emphatically this system is not compatible with the reality of 21 century. he says it has to become a dead museum piece like any other old useless tradition. further he says Tulku system needs to be completely eradicated, but at the same time he admits that it is almost difficult to achieve this task, for the reason this system is very closely knitted and linked with overtly mundane concerns of perpetually retaning and increasing of wealth, power, and empire in the service of the age old establishment to be perpetuated indefinately. he adds perhaps it has fulfilled some what religious role in the distant past but current era it has and is proving to be ever invalid and irrelevant to the life of many 21-century buddhist practitioner. finally he mentions these people belonging to this powerful establishment of institutionalised Tulku system will never prepared to forsake their persisten pursuit after money and power. In-order to satiate their hunger for power, fame and empire. they abuse the beautiful dharma of the lord Buddha as a spiritual guise to deceive sincere and innocent seekers. he says however it is very timely and important to talk about this crucial issues openly and thereby educate the general Buddhist public. perhaps tibetan buddhism needs a radical reformation in regard to this!!!!!!
