However, serious concerns remain: one of Imam Jamils feet remains badly swollen and he is unable to walk on it without pain, he continues to lose weight (30 lbs. as of 6/24), has not received the results of any of the diagnostic tests administered to him two weeks ago and most importantly, he has never been seen by a physician before, during or after this crisis, as is his right. Finally, we are requesting that Mr. Al-Amin be transferred to Butner Medical Center in Butner, NC; a facility that has the resources to meet his current and anticipated future medical needs.
