H2-Oh NO! Written by LM Fields Ever wonder why some bottled water tastes a certain way? I have. I wondered why I always wanted Dasani. That was my favorite. I learned that some of my friends detested the brand. I started asking myself, Why? Water should be water, no mater which company puts their label on it. But it took me this long to actually look into my legitimate question. I am always saying, Never stop asking questions. And... Always ask the right ones. But those questions never do any good if you dont do your homework and try to find the answers. I finally sought some answers when I did research on the water bottling industry. The video below is just a small sample of what I found. The bigger picture moved me to make a permanent change. I will no longer buy bottled water of any kind unless I have no choice. I noticed that after drinking Dasani over and over, I was still feeling thirsty. The same chemical their company puts in their soda, you know the one, Coca Cola. Great money making idea, dont cha think? You drink water to quench your thirst but after drinking it, you feel thirsty and want more. Thats the chemical kicking in and sucking up the water from your system, starting within your mouth. I always wondered why I had that feeling after drinking Dasani. Now you know too. For someone like me who takes meds that do this already, I am actually dehydrating my body even more with every drop I drink creating a dangerous situation. No wonder I kept feeling worse when I had a fever just recently. Dehydration is nothing to play with. It can shut down your entire body. I had to make a change for my health alone. Now I have a BPA Free drinking bottle that I can refill with my own water. I use tap water that I put through a filtration system. Other than boiling, theres nothing more I can think to do. At least I wont be drinking the added salts and cancerous ingredients youll find listed on purchased bottles of water. Look, youll see it doesnt list just water. The water you pay for is not from some mountain spring. Its tap water. Id rather take my chances and filter my own tap water and/or boil it in my kitchen than pay lots of money to create more trash so I can pour chemicals into my body and end up in the hospital so I can spend money I dont have.
