VFS and the Police are having challenges VFS - people are calling the 087 number to ask for the requirements to apply for ZSP instead of going to the system where all the information is and initiating the process so that they are guided. That is why the 087 is CONGESTED. See below. SAPS - they are saying people are so desparate for police clearance, even people from other countries are coming for police clearance and they want them like hot-cakes. Even when turned away, they come back with a story. Highlights: 7 days after the launch Calls Received = 74 951 Online application = 18 657 Appointments = 4998 Do you maths, something is clearly not right. Other things presented, I would rather keep to myself and hope that Zimbabweans will take this process seriously and engage the Department of Home Affairs in a UNITED way and not show the confusion that we sometimes display in front of senior government officials. These meetings are not rallies, it is not about the quantity of people sent there but quality of people who will understand, engage and win issues for the people they represent. Home Affairs is interested in having more ORGANISATIONS on board that are representing their constituency. Next time we announce there is a meeting, may those representing organisations contact us so that we facilitate their attendance or just make your effort now to sit in that platform and represent people. People should not wake up blaming us for keeping information from them when they can sit in those platforms but like I said, it is not a rally where individuals walk in, people should represent organisations. I will not facilitate for individuals but for proven organisations. Good day friends.
