HAIM “My Song 5″ (featuring A$AP Ferg) ow.ly/Aw1WA [Video Premiere] American pop rock band HAIM continues in full promotion of its acclaimed debut album “Days Are Gone“, released on digital retailers on September 30, 2013 via Polydor and Columbia Records. Following the release of their latest single “If I Could Change Your Mind“, the three sisters from the San Fernando Valley have chosen to release a version of the album’s track “My Song 5“, with the special collaboration of American rapper, and hip-hop recording artist A$AP Ferg, as the official sixth single. The video was premiered on VEVO on August 19th and has a lot of guest stars. In it, “Saturday Night Live” star Vanessa Bayer plays Dallas Murphy, the host of a Jerry Springer-style daytime talk show. The members of Haim play guests, as do a number of musicians. Kesha plays a woman in love with her cat, while Ferg is a guy whose girlfriend is leaving him for another woman. Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig is a stoic audience member; Grimes chats with Danielle Haim in the waiting room; Big Sean shows up, too, as do Haim’s parents and producer Ariel Rechtshaid. The new version of “My Song 5” was released on iTunes on July 15th.
