HALLOWEEN A LONG TIME AGO . . . Thats my kid sister, Kathy on the left. Me in the middle as Smokey Joe the fireman, and brother Russ (deceased) as Superman. We were getting ready to take part in Lake Parks downtown Halloween parade that morning. The button on the waistband of my black pants went missing before the parade . . . I wrote about this incident in the story Ive included here. The picture alongside the story is of me and best school chum, Deborah Mesner, on our last night of trick or treating.
