HANDGUN HOMEWORK : STAGE 2 10 ROUNDS / 3 YARDS Stage Two - Ten rounds (two magazines five rounds each at three yards. Draw and fire three rounds strong hand only. Draw and fire one round SHO X 2. Draw and fire three rounds weak hand only. Draw and fire one round WHO X 2. Not many people practice shooting with one hand (just look around at your local range). Almost no one practices shooting with their weak hand. These are two things you need to practice. Think about it. Your left hand may be busy doing something else and can not provide support to your right hand (or vice versa for you lefties). OR your right hand may have been disabled by your attacker. NOW WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? NOTE - You will see me cross draw with my left hand in this video. If you attempt this, I strongly advise that you do it many times with an empty weapon. If you pay attention, I practice a lot of muzzle discipline here. Do not point the weapon at yourself while flipping it. GO SLOW ! ! ! After I fire the weapon with my left hand and finish my scan and access, I have to mentally tell myself drill over before I transfer the weapon back to my strong hand (which was disabled) before I re-holster.
