HAPPENING NOW #URA #AnnualPressBriefing International trade taxes collections increased by 4.54% (UGX 133.34 Bn Domestic tax collections increased by 23.12 %( UGX 802.69 Bn). Net revenue collections increased by 15.16% (UGX 941.13 Bn). International trade taxes for FY2012/13 were UGX 3,070.51 Bn against a target of UGX 3,392.92 Bn, a performance of 90.50% Domestic taxes collections for FY2012/13 were UGX 4,274.73 Bn against a target of UGX 4,072.45 Bn, a perform of 104.97% We conducted 1,831 audits yielding UGX 370.87 Bn out of which UGX 102.71 Bn was collected. We nstituted mobile services in Kiboga, Kisoro, Kaberamaido, Moroto, Mubende, Luwero, Kalangala, Kamwenge and Kapchorwa. The average exchange rate applied by URA on imports for the FY 2012/13 was UGX 2,584.77 The import volumes for all fuel products of diesel, petrol, jet fuel and kerosene for FY 2012/13 grew by 0.56% The CIF values of the non-fuel imports in USD declined by 1.41% (from USD 4.52Bn in FY 2011/12 to USD 4.46Bn in FY 2012/13
