HAPPENING: Some of you movie fanatics will recall a line in the movie Ä Few Good Men starring the Oscar winning Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore...It aint over until the fat lady sings. Today another twist in the PF presidential race as the clock ticks before the party travels to the Rock to choose a leader. His Worship the Lord Mayor Mulenga J Sata has pulled his cap out of the ring after consultations. Also some 23 ward coiunsellors, all of them presumably delegates at the Rock have endorsed Edgar Lungu as their preferred candidate in a race that has sucked in others such as Matero legislator Miles Sampa, Kabwata MP Given Lubinda and 1st Lady Given Lubinda to mention but a few...and oh including the Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili. The opposition have already hit the ground campaigning but the real sparks are only expected to explode once the ruling PF chooses a leader in the most contested presidential seat thus far in Zambian political party race history. The endorsement of Lungu comes on the heels of a MuviTV weekly poll that gave Edgar Lungu a 50% head start ahead of the conference.
