His mastery of the expressive language of colour and drawing, displayed in a body of work spanning over a half-century, won him recognition as a leading figure in modern art. Hermann Max Pechstein (31 December 1881 – 29 June 1955) was a German expressionist painter and printmaker, and a member of the Die Brücke group. Gabriel Clark-Brown (born 31 December 1965) is a prominent South African print-maker. He is the founder and director of the South African Print Gallery and the South African Art Times. Delise Reich (born 31 December 1947) is a South African artist working mainly in the field of ceramic sculpture. Reuel Terrtius Bosch (born 31 December 1969) is an airbrush artist living in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. His work focuses mainly on the naturalistic representation of wildlife.
