HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME... In the words of Candi Staton....on a cold gray Chicago morn a poor little baby child is born...and his momma cries...because theres one thing that she dont need is another little hungry mouth to feed...in the ghetto..... On this December 1 1958 a miracle was born that song about sums it up.....But today giving thanks to the most High Godh and to the Godh of the Agnostc.....I am grateful today because in the words of My two Grandmothers and the village that raised me....He touched with the finger of love this morning while the blood was still running warm in my veins.....He clothed in my right mind....He pulled my feet out of the mire and sat them on solid....not only did he do that...he put a song in my heart and started me on my way....for 56 years...20,440 days...490,560 hours....29,433,600 seconds my Higher Power has been doing this for me....I have so much to be thankful for....for today I have breath in my body and today I realize that is all the each of us really has is our next breath and if that breath was snatched out of your body at this very moment what would you have NOTHING...I am grateful for my health and strength....if you loose that you will be at the mercy of others and in todays world that wouldnt be good...thankful for my family old and new found old family....thankful for my friends old,new and facebook...thankful for my struggles because they built me into the PROUD TO BE BLACK MAN that I am today....thank all of you good people for being in my life....and allowing me to be in yours...may Godh continue to protect and bless you and your families...and for my Black Brothers and Sisters we are living in perilous times....wake-up and stop living in a FOOLS PARADISE...I could go on but they would kick me off facebook...Im out.... youtu.be/UuXqcynZZYg
