HAPPY EVER AFTER MARRIAGE? A REALITY OR FAIRYTALE ILLUSION?? Marriage is an ibaadah, fortunate are those who see it as such.. Marriage is a good part of life, but with its own sets of trials, its not a bed of roses or a paradise without troubles, NB-- Whoever enters into marriage with a mindset of perpetual-enjoyment and expectations of absolutely trouble-free union..is only swimming in deep waters of marital delusion and is set for disappointments! Troubles may come in different shades -- **it cud be in the form of a responsible but unromantic spouse **It cud be A wonderfully pious but barren wife or impotent husband --hmm **It cud be --Troublesome inlaws who interfere and dont fear Allah *It cud in the form of children who are terrible and bring no peace.. etc Need i say more? It cud financial, physical, psychological or medical, everyone has his unique trial in marriage Many have divorced because of their “telenovela notion“ of marriage! Their over expectations of a never-ending enjoyment and perfect spouses come crushing after reality sets in.. My dear, Psyche yourself up-- be ready to forgive and overlook faults, even before the trials start piling up.. Look beyond your spouse and focus on Allah! Forgive for His sake! seek proper counselling from reasonable people of knowledge Marriage is good! Yes! But its not a solution to all your problems! Infact, it cud even be the problem itself! Enter Marriage with the mentality that, its a challenge and Allah is the ultimate solution!! Many have also sat through difficult marriages, buh with patience, prayer & deeniously tactical moves, theyre smiling today in their marital homes! Alhamdulillaah Only patience! Sacrifice! Forgiveness and ultimate focus and reliance on Allah can bring us Satisfaction in marriage and affairs of this dunyaa! Be ready!! Sura Arra‘d --13: 28! Allah says ... ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺁﻣَﻨُﻮﺍ ﻭَﺗَﻂْﻤَﺌِﻦُّ ﻗُﻠُﻮﺑُﻬُﻢْ ﺑِﺬِﻛْﺮِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ۗ ﺃَﻻَ ﺑِﺬِﻛْﺮِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺗَﻂْﻤَﺌِﻦُّ ﺍﻟْﻘُﻠُﻮﺏُ Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah, hearts are assured (satisfied). *** Oh Allah, make us and grant us the best of spouses! Wholl urge us to always rely on You!! Grant us a heart to forgive and a soul to sacrifice..
