HAPPY GODS day everyone. Well, I am still at home as the family, once again, is traveling out of town for baseball games. I declare for goodness, when do they think these boys get to go to church? As for me, I do feel better but still not 100% but far better, so thanks for the prayers and comments. I am so thankful that yesterday, none of you passed my house about 10:30 a.m. as I was outside looking Molly, in my p.j.s, robe, crocks, socks, hair uncombed and found her across the road, which means she could have been run over! I have never found her across the road in that yard before, but I suspect she was tracking a cat, or they do have a small dog as well, that ever once in awhile will also cross the road and come into our yard, perhaps once a year. I scolded her big-time, and smacked her butt too and just fussed her out all the way home about why she dont cross the road, like she understood. In the meantime, I look up as I get into our driveway and there are two men that own the lot next to us that have the goats, donkeys, chickens, etc., and they were watching me chew that dog out and just to laughing at me. Now they might have been laughing due to my attire, or the fact I did not see them until I about walked into the front end of his stopped truck. I was so embarrassed for I really was a mess. Needless to say, Molly has NOT been out since, unless, I had her on a leash, and she came inside after that ordeal and she hid from me (under the bed) for about two hours and every-time she started coming out, I fussed at her again and back she went. I think she got my message. Thank GOD she did not get run over as we live in a curve. Well, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, have a great Sunday, and remember to rest up some this day. I love this time of the year when I can take the time to read a few books, for many years now I have enjoyed reading, but for a period of about l7 years I could not read to comprehend nothing, so I just kept at it and finally my life did change enough to once again read, which I have loved since I was 6 years old. One of my uncles used to work for Whitman, which carried everything from candy, games, books, and so on. Each trip to Henderson, to visit my grandparents all the kids go to go to his then, station-wagon and pick out whatever we wanted. I always picked a book and would read all the way back home, I remember picking out Red Velvet and Black Beauty like it was yesterday. Do that good deed this day, speak to all you see and give what you can to those in need, and do it from the heart and NOT for self-recognition, never for that reason do it ruins it all. Remember to never part ways angry with anyone and tell your family and friends that you love them every chance you get. Smile and the world smiles with you... big hugs today!
