HAPPY HAPPY MONDAY, It was one week ago today that my Tom went into ICU with a temp of 106.5 and a BP of 43/21. As last Monday progressed the clergy at the hospital came in to talk to me to prepare me for the worst which seemed to be the path we were going, my brother Chris and my sister Kathy and her husband Marty were with me so if there was bad news i would not be alone, and the doctor asked me that if need be in the next few hours and if tom fails, were they allowed to restart the heart or put him on a breathing machine. We were in a very dangerous situation, and not sure what the morning would bring. Tuesday was still touch and go but we had made it thru the night, and as the week progressed, well so did Tom. I am so happy, blessed and thankful to say.....TOM IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Thank God he got a little better each day, with the culprit being sepsis and staph , so we are on antibiotics, and will have to go back to the hospital for a two hour iv antibiotic for the next 7 days, for Tom is unable to take it in pill form. I am so happy just to see him in his chair with his remote and happy happy happy. Pork chops and mashed potatoes for dinner, and Monday night football, i could not be happier. God answered my prayers and gave Tom the strength to pull thru , and God gave the doctors the strength and knowledge to do what was necessary to save his life. Thank you so much to everyone that sent their love and support and prayers, for God Is GREAT and he answered each and every one of them. Love to all and again , thank you so much. Love Tom and Angie
