HAPPY HERITAGE DAY CLAIMING YOUR INHERITENCE (HERITAGE) OUR TRUE HERITAGE Isaiah 57:17 “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will silence every tongue that accuses you. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their (your) vindication (confidence, assurance) from me, declares the LORD.” Once we were dead in sin, we are now alive in Christ Jesus, and more than alive, seated together with Him in the heavenly realms. Reigning over the devil Christ Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, far above all, with all things placed under His feet. Our HERITAGE is a seat in the heavenly realms, NOT just in the future, BUT RIGHT NOW. THEREFORE WHAT IS UNDER Jesus’ feet also is under our feet. Do NOT strained and kept in chains by YOUR past, hardened by memories of failure, hurt, pain, rejection and disappointment. RELEASE the past, let it go, bring it to the Cross, FORGIVE and leave it there. Take your rightful position, shake off the shackles of the past that have pulled you down, receive the INHERITENCE of freedom and joy God has for you now. Reigning in Life This is not something for the future, but the HERE AND NOW. As you and I take our position with Christ Jesus, you and I start reigning in life, one area at a time. The whole purpose of our position in Christ Jesus is to enable us to draw on His power, living effectively in life, fulfilling our responsibilities as Christians and loving and caring for our families and each other. As true Christians we should be living and walking a life of love as Jesus did, this will enable others to see Jesus and we will make a difference. This is what reigning in life is all about, having God’s perspective, and taking control and charge of our lives in the light of it EVERY DAY COMMIT YOUR WAYS TO GOD; MEDITATE ON THE TRUTH FROM GOD’S WORD; REAFFIRM YOUR POSITION WITH JESUS; REMIND THE DEVIL HE IS DEFEATED; MAKE CHOICES IN LINE WITH GOD’S WORD; LIVE ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD; RESPOND TO GOD’S SUPPLY OF LOVE AND GRACE BEFORE REACTING TO LIFE’S CIRCUMSTANCES; PUT THE PAST BEHIND YOU AND REACH FORWARD TO WHAT IS AHEAD. PRAYER - I PUT RESENTMENTS BEHIND ME, AND I FORGIVE ALL THOSE WHO HAVE WRONGED ME. IN THE DAYS AHEAD, CAUSE ME TO INCREASE AND EXCEL AND OVERFLOW WITH YOUR LOVE. MAKE ME TO BE WHAT THIS WORLD NEEDS MOST OF ALL, A LIVING EXAMPLE OF LOVE WHERE THEY CAN SEE JESUS THROUGH ME. I CLAIM MY INHERITENCE IN CHRIST, DEVIL YOU ARE UNDER MY FEET, I AM GOD’S CHILD.
