HAPPY HOLIDAYS + DP4 ANNOUNCEMENT All right, Im sure by now you think Ive forgotten about you, but I HAVE NOT. Every single day I think about how long my loyal Demon Princess readers have been waiting and I feel The Guilt. Currently, Im writing two books a year for Razorbill (as Morgan Rhodes) and they are Big Books that take a lot of time and energy and, really, Im a terrible multi-tasker so I havent yet been able to fit DP4 into my busy schedule (no kidding, right??). When I bring up the subject of that Demon Princess book I still need to write, friends tell me to forget about it. Its been so long probably no one cares. But I know one person who definitely cares -- and thats me! I want to finish it and I will, but obviously I need a plan. MY PLAN After my deadline in mid-January and after plotting my next book, I aim to get a minimum of a chapter a week done on DP4. Instead of making you wait for the whole thing to be finished, Im going to post those chapters on Wattpad. Yes, all of them. It will only be a polished first draft, since I always go back at the end and work on description and adding more internal thoughts and stuff like that, but it will be pretty solid since I have a pretty good outline to go from. There are nineteen chapters in my outline and as I finish them, Ill post them. After theyre all up, Ill decide what I want to do with them, by editing, formatting, making them available (for a small price) on ebook platforms and as a printed book, for those who have collected the others. But the original draft will be totally free. Does that sound okay? And its good since you can add your comments after every chapter and your comments may sway me to change the plot as I go. MAYBE. :) Ill post a notice here in the group when each chapter is available and if you follow me on Wattpad, youll probably get a notice. wattpad/user/Michelle_Rowen WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP When the chapters go up, Id really appreciate it if you tell friends and fellow readers theyre there. The more people I see reading them and commenting, the more inspired I will be to finish the book quicker.
